    陈牧：寡人欲革易时弊，为强国富民之法，先生教我。

    萧凡：臣以为，为政当循六策，一日寡欲念，二日敦教化，三日尽地利，四日擢贤良，五日恤狱讼，六日均赋役。

    陈牧：先生之言是也，寡人谨受教。

    萧凡：臣以为，欲知平直，则必准绳，欲知方圆，则必规矩，人主欲自知，则必直士，故天下立辅弼，设师保，所以举过也，夫人故不能自知，人主犹其，存亡安危，勿求于外，务在自知。

    陈牧：先生之言是也，寡人谨受教。

    陈牧：先生之言甚善，寡人受教矣。
